About Me

I am a lifelong learner, and this love of learning has always gone hand in hand with helping others learn.  My experience has included creating impactful learning experiences for diverse audiences across the education, government, and non-profit sectors. Over the course of my career, I have designed and developed instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), and eLearning solutions that bridge skills gaps and foster engagement. No matter the setting, I'm driven by the same goal: to design learning experiences that empower people to grow and succeed.  

When I design learning experiences, I always consider the end goal first and then work backwards. After conducting a gap analysis, I analyze the data collected to identify appropriate learning objectives. I love the challenge of figuring out the best training plan to meet the needs identified and fill the gaps.  I strive to ensure the learning experiences I create are both meaningful and engaging, and that they will ultimately lead to behavior change that promotes greater success for both the learners as well as organizational goals.

When I'm not busy designing, developing, and/or implementing learning opportunities I can be found spending time with my family, reading, traveling, and spending time at the beach.
